Login Problems
StackTidy uses magic links - no password. Here's what to do if you're having trouble.
Magic link not arriving
- Check spam / junk folder - this is the most common cause
- Wait a few minutes - email delivery can be delayed
- Check the email address for typos
- Try requesting a new link from the login page
Link expired
Magic links expire after 1 hour. If yours has expired:
- Go to the login page
- Enter your email again
- Click the new link right away
Browser issues
If the link opens but doesn't sign you in:
- Clear browser cache and cookies then try again
- Try a different browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
- Disable browser extensions - some security extensions block auth flows
- Try incognito/private mode
Microsoft SSO
If you're signing in with Microsoft and see an error:
- Make sure you're signing into the correct Microsoft account
- Your IT admin may need to approve the StackTidy app for Microsoft 365 accounts
